Have you ever noticed how good it feels to just get outside?
Or how often do you notice how you get the best ideas when you’re taking a walk, a hike, or letting your hair just dance in the wind? Maybe you’ve never thought about it before but I bet it’s true. Today I’m joined by Tiffanie Glaze, a nature-based life and mindset coach.
Several years ago on a mountain in South Korea, Tiffany made a decision that would take her from the life she had been building, and create the one she felt called to. Today she’s sharing a bit of the journey with us, what does and why it matters, and just how easy it is to invite nature into your heart and home.
Meet Today’s Guest
Hi! I’m Tiffanie Glaze. As a mom and entrepreneur, I understand that time is a limited and valuable resource. My passion is to help women release their overwhelming, constant on-the-go lifestyle to make room for the most important things; family, joy, and abundance.
As a nature-based life and mindset coach, I help people reconnect with themselves by way of through mother nature.
About Me:
I am originally from Ventura County, CA but moved to San Diego to attend UCSD. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Education. Because I have always been passionate about education and experiencing new things, I moved to South Korea to begin my teaching career. During my time overseas, I lived and worked as both an English teacher for local students and as an elementary classroom teacher for American children on an Army base. While living abroad, I fell in love with hiking and began exploring my natural surroundings more and more. Living overseas afforded me the opportunity to travel to several countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Germany, and Spain where I explored the picturesque natural scenery.
After several years, I decided to leave my dream job and begin my journey back to San Diego to pursue a career where I could merge my passions – teaching and nature. I completed Trail Guide Certification from Mission Trails Regional Park in 2015 and began leading guided nature hikes for both Mission Trails and Cabrillo National Monument. I have written and published curriculum for environmentally conscious non-profits and led a successful workshop for science educators. I also worked as a financial and operations manager for a local family-run construction business. In 2021, I finally merged all the things I’m passionate about and started my own business, Grounded by Nature, as an online/in-person nature-based life and mindset coach for women and provide life-changing transformations for my clients in nature whenever possible.
When I’m not on the trail or working with my soul-aligned clients, you’ll find me outdoors with my two beautiful, nature-loving girls, Aurora (5) and Everest (3), and my supportive partner, Robert. I reside in sunny La Mesa, CA, and can be spotted regularly at Lake Murray walking and exploring with my girls.
