How do you feel about your body? Do you love it? Are you comfortable in it? Does it make you think positive or negative thoughts?

Self-image can be a real beast and we’re going to talk about it. In today’s episode I talk about some not so friendly thoughts and feelings I’m having as I prepare for a family vacation to the beach and some quick action I’m taking to correct them. Because after all, how we feel about ourselves matters.

A few nuggets to reflect on…

  • Your self-image shapes you’re beliefs about you so you’ve got to be aware of the things you say to yourself, about yourself.
  • Worrying about our appearance can actually keep us from experiencing fun and so much more. It holds us back.
  • Starting with an appreciation for your body is a good stepping stone to loving or feeling confident in your body.
  • Look at yourself in the mirror, there’s a lot to admire and you won’t see if you’re not looking.
  • There’s a lot to love… you are a gosh darn beautiful queen. Period.
